A New On-Line Traversing Beta Tranmission Gauge from FACTS.
FACTS can offer a complete replacement of your existing on-line, traversing beta transmission gauge. Our gauge design uses a rugged ‘O’-Frame or ’C'-Frame welded, H-beam construction that includes a heavy duty DC motor directly coupled to the gear box. Scanning motion, sensor control, and signal processing are provided by the FACTS Universal Scanner Interface (USI). Source selection can be either Strongtium 90, Krypton 85 or Promethium 147 depending upon your application’s requirements. A new Total Profile Control (TPC) console is included with interface capabilities to the FACTS Total Information Manager (TIM) for data collection and remote viewing capability

By utilizing our Universal Scanner Interface (USI) technology, FACTS can upgrade the obsolete electronics on your existing scanner and re-use the source, detector and mechanical frame assembly. This approach can be a cost-effective approach when the mechanical frame is in good condition and the source has sufficient remaining usefule life. The FACTS retrofit solution retains the existing scanner frame and mechanical components along with the source and detector. All electronics are replaced. A new Total Profile Control (TPC) console is included with interface capabilities to the FACTS Total Information Manager (TIM) for data collection and remote viewing capability. The upgrade package can be used to retrofit the following legacy systems: NDC, AccuRay, Meaurex, Ohmart, Honeywell, LFE, Eurotherm, and EGS.
