Total Profile Control for Web Processing
The FACTS Total Profile Control (TPC) System is designed specifically for the integration of scanning gauge measurement for machine direction and cross direction control of web processes. The Total Profile Control (TPC) System can be supplied with a complete new scanning system or it can interface to existing gauging systems by using the FACTS Universal Scanner Interface (USI) technology.
Features of the Total Profile Control (TPC) System include an open architecture that supports connection to a variety of sensor technologies including X-ray, nuclear, eddy current and spectral interferometry.
